Jung James Mo is the founder of MoDE Architects, P.C. He holds architectural licenses in Illinois and Ohio and is a LEED Accredited Professional and leads MoDE with a focus on sustainability and exceptional design.

Michael graduated from Syracuse University in 2001, and has been with Mode Architects since 2011. He is the lead technical principal for the firm with expertise in ADA and LEED.

Matt is a graduate from Ball State University in 1998 and is a licensed architect in Illinois and Indiana. A CDB approved project manager and a self-cert architect with the City of Chicago, He has a wide range of experience in varying educational and institutional project types. 

Loraine received her M Arch from University of Michigan in 2019 with interests in fabrication and the study of light and materials. She loves running with her friends and coffee cupping in her spare time.

Cecilia Garcia is a designer and project manager for various projects. Cecilia received her Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies and a Minor in Spanish from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She has experience in retail, commercial, education and civic projects which drive her to create or reimagine spaces to enhance human experience with equity and modern design. When not at work, Cecilia loves to be with her friends, visit museums, and travel!

Danny Calmeyn is a licensed architect. He received his M.Arch from the University of Illinois in 2021 where he continued using his creativity to pursue design and solutions in the building industry.

Annie received her BA in public relations and marketing from Governors State University in 2021. Her interest in transmitting her background in communications with the philosophy of architecture has been an evergreen experience. Outside of work she enjoys talking about pop culture and spending time in nature.

Rasika’s passion for Architecture stems from its ability to influence communities and individuals. While pursuing her M.Arch at Illinois Institute of Technology, she developed keen interest in Façade design and engineering which now serves as a focal point for her career aspirations. Outside of work, Rasika delights in unwinding along the lakefront and exploring new pizza establishments.

Christian graduated with her M.Arch from Andrews University in 2020. Her favorite part of architecture is the idea of putting things together and problem solving. She loves to cook, try new restaurants and explore Chicago’s neighborhoods.

Sam graduated from NC State University - College of Design with her B.Arch in 2019 and became a licensed architect in 2022. Sam enjoys baking, pottery, crochet, and hanging out with her golden retriever. As an NC transplant, she also loves to explore the food and coffee scene around Chicago!
